Sending Money

You can send money to an inmate if you are approved to be on that inmate’s visiting list. You should reach out between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, to the visitor department 513-381-1954.

Once approved, you can put money in the inmate’s trust account through the online Inmate Trust Account Deposits service.

Phone calls

Inmates at the Cincinnati Volunteers of America cannot receive phone calls but can make phone calls collect and or with a pre-paid phone account.

To receive a call from an inmate, you will need to accept the collect charges. If you have an account through Century Link’s billing agent (ICSolutions), you can be charged in real time instead of having the collect charges attached to your phone bill.

Inmates can make phone calls between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Visitation

After you approved as a visitor, you should set up an account. This will allow you to set up a visit either in person or via video. To set up an account, click here. You can also call 513-381-1954 if you need assistance in setting up an account.

Setting up an account is free of charge, as is scheduling a visit. You will be able to schedule visits up to 30 days in advance, and need to schedule at least 7 days in advance. You can reserve up to 2 hours for each visit.
