Another way to deposit money to an inmate is to visit a kiosk located in a lobby. Using the kiosk, you can allocate cash or a credit card transaction to credit an inmate’s account.
The last option, the slowest option, is to send a money order via the mail. The money order should be made out to the West Helena Jail Inmate Fund. In the memo field, clearly print or type the name of the inmate. Never send cash through the mail.
Phone calls
Like many other jails, West Helena Jail uses Securus Technologies to facilitate phone calls with inmates. While inmates cannot receive calls, they can make phone calls. It’s best for family and friends to set up an account with Securus or call them for at 870-572-3441.
Visitation
The easiest way to visit an inmate at West Helena Jail is do so via video. Schedule an appointment, and you can do a video visit from the lobby of the jail. Visits will last for up to 20 minutes and not cost any money. Like phone calls, you will need to register with Securus. You should schedule your visit on the website at least 24 hours before you plan to visit.
