Sending a Mail/Care Package
This policy online outlines the rules and regulations for sending mail to inmates. Generally, know that you can send letters and postcards to inmates, but do not send any contraband or sexually provocative material. Letters will be opened and screen by the Tri-Cities Work Release staff.
Sending Money
Inmates at the Tri-Cities Work Release are generally permitted to hold money in a commissary account. They can use this money to purchase commissary items or subscribe to periodicals. There are kiosks available to the inmates to access their account balances.

Phone calls
While inmates at the Tri-Cities Work Release cannot receive incoming calls they can be setup with an account to make phone calls. Set up an account an ADVANCE PAY pre-paid account. Inmates are permitted to make phone calls lasting in duration up to 20 minutes.

Visitation
Start by reading the visitation guidelines online. You will need to plan to make arrangements ahead of time for a visit, as visitation rights can be restricted. If inmates do not have restrictions, they will be able to receive visitors three different times per week. The timeslots depend on where the inmates are housed, and you should ask those questions while arranging your visit.
You will need to clear a background check before visiting. You need to be on a visitor’s list before scheduling your visit. You can call the Tri-Cities Work Release to inquire about being placed on a visitor’s list.
