The Sheriff of Cassia County oversees all operations, and there are about 70 correction officers working at this jail. The Mini-Cassia County Jail is unique in that it is a direct supervision facility, which means correctional officers are located in the housing units with inmates to observe and interact. Inmates are not isolated behind bars and barriers. Inmates are not held at this facility for longer than a year.

You can send photographs. Inmates can hold up to a total of fifteen (15) pictures at any time. Make sure they are 4" x 6" or smaller, and do not send Polaroids.
Sending Money
The easiest way to deposit money on an inmate’s account is either online or by bringing cash to the jail lobby and depositing in the Mini-Cassia County Jail lobby kiosk. You can also send a cashier’s check or money order through the US mail.
You can deposit up to $150.00 at a time and up to $500 every 30 days. There are small fees associated with deposits.
Phone calls
While inmates cannot receive incoming calls, they can call out. The easiest way for inmates to make phone calls is to use their commissary account. It is possible to purchase phone cards for inmates from the commissary website. You are also able to deposit money for phone cards by calling 208-878-1000.
Visitation
Start by looking at the visitation webpage. To get started, an inmate will need to fill out a Visitor Request form for any visitor. The inmates will submit these forms to the Jail for approval. The easiest way to help facilitate this is to write the inmate a letter and provide all your relevant contact information.
